Creatives Series – Lou Maxon

Lou Maxon gave me my first break in Seattle back in the late 90s, hiring me for numerous Seattle Magazine articles and covers (I think I ultimately shot seven covers for them). He is long gone from Seattle Magazine, moving on to lots of other things – including currently being immersed in creating his and his family’s dream house, designed by Tom Kundig.  A film is in the works on the creation of the house and you can also keep up to date with it on a series of articles on Dwell magazine’s web site. And, along with juggling all these things, he is the founder and principal of M, a brand storytelling agency. Great guy to work with and I am grateful for his support in the beginning of my career and honored to have him part of the Creatives series!
