Parking garage. There’s something about parking garages that always make me want to take photos — the lighting is weird, the feeling is cavernous but claustrophobic at the same thing, kind of a weird scary feeling….

I’ve been shooting a lot down at Pike Place Market — I just love that place, particularly now that the tourist season has died down, there’s a bit of a chill coming off of Puget Sound, and all of those guys selling fish always seem so happy!
They are still not finished tearing down the Fun Forest down at Seattle Center. I’ve been heading down there every few days to check out what’s new and it seems like pretty slow going.
Scooter down on Alki Beach — colorful and lonely. Things like this and single lost shoes on the side of the road always make my heart ache a little bit. Though, I guess the owner of this scooter probably was somewhere nearby ….
Bird decal on the bridge to Pike Place Market. It always caught my eye when I would walk past it — wondering who put it there. For some reason, I’ve associated it with the construction crew I always see near there. I doubt it was them but you never know.
